"The women are very important in the life of the Church. You are the most important body within the Church. You make a big difference in our ministry. When everyone left our Lord Jesus Christ alone of the cross, the women were there. Can you see how important women are? You are the myrrh-bearing women."

Retreat
The Midwest Antiochian Women’s spring weekend retreat will be held May 2-4, 2008, at Dormition of the Mother of God Orthodox Monastery in Rives Junction, Michigan. Following Bright Saturday services on May 3 Father Steven Kostoff of Cincinnati, Ohio, will speak on “how we now live, following the light of the Resurrection.” For information on the third annual retreat and to print a flyer, click here.
